Instructor, RYT 200
Lina has been passionate about movement since she can remember. Growing up, she participated in various movement forms such as gymnastics, cheerleading, and more. Lina’s yoga journey began in 2010 when she discovered a yoga club at her high school that held restorative classes. It wasn’t until graduating high school, though, that she took her first vinyasa flow class at Just Yoga. She was immediately hooked by the challenge and reward these new movements offered. After years of practice, and reaping the mind and body benefits of yoga, Lina was eager to learn more, and in 2018 she enrolled in the 200 hour Teacher Training program through Just Yoga.
Lina seeks to make her classes accessible, challenging, and to bring greater awareness to body and mind through her detailed instruction. She truly believes that each person’s body is unique, and therefore each person’s expression of a posture is unique. She keeps her classes light with fun playlists and loves to share her passion for yoga and movement with all levels of practitioners, including first timers!
Lina is currently in graduate school pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy after completing her B.S. in Physiology and Neuroscience. She is fascinated with human anatomy and physiology and continues to strengthen her understanding of these topics. Lina’s other hobbies include camping, traveling, and strength training.
